Sick of ride food?
Try these energy balls. They have the same calorific value as a energy bar and are gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and full of so much deliciousness that you will catch yourself snacking on these on the couch.
330g almonds or cashews, buzz in a food processor until powdery
60g protein powder (2 scoops)
3 tbs cocoa powder
1 packet of pitted dates or 20 large dates, buzz until like a paste (hot tip: add a splash of water to the dates so the dates blend better)
A dribble of vanilla essence
1/4 cup shredded coconut
Add date mix to all the dry stuff and buzz in a food processor til dough like. (You may need to combine and kneed by hand.)
Roll into 40g balls
